Upgrading Security Infrastructure at Xscape Yorkshire

Ninehundred delivered a modernised CCTV solution to enhance safety and monitoring at Xscape Yorkshire.

The Challenge

Xscape Yorkshire, a premier entertainment and leisure destination, experienced recurring issues with their CCTV system. Poor picture quality and camera vibrations during windy conditions rendered some cameras ineffective, limiting security personnel’s ability to monitor the premises effectively. The site required an upgrade to ensure consistent and reliable surveillance.

Our Solutions

Ninehundred Communications worked closely with Xscape Yorkshire to assess their requirements and determine the most effective solution. We identified that several existing camera heads were beyond repair and no longer cost-effective to maintain.

To address these issues, we replaced two cameras with cutting-edge Samsung SCP3370THP models, featuring pan, tilt, and 37x zoom capabilities. These cameras deliver high-resolution colour and monochrome imaging, alongside advanced auto-tracking technology for improved surveillance.

Additionally, we reinforced the mounting structures by making modifications to the steel columns, reducing vibrations and significantly improving camera stability in adverse weather conditions.

How We Helped

Ninehundred Communications’ CCTV Division successfully carried out the installation and structural modifications, restoring the surveillance system to full functionality. The newly installed cameras provide clear, stable images, ensuring security personnel have real-time visibility across the site.

What They Had To Say

“We recently had two new cameras fitted by Ninehundred, I would like to put on record that the engineers sent were extremely knowledgeable and efficient, keeping me informed all the way, solving the communication problem with the new cameras and our old system very efficiently and I would have no problem recommending them for any future work”.
